Two Dates For Diaries

Great news! We've just received the confirmation that we have been chosen for the Norwich Makers Markets - one in the Spring and one near Christmas (7 December)! Exciting!
So - it's all hands to the deck for producing some lovely spring/summer themed items for Saturday 13 April...
Helen mentioned colours on Monday; here's a taster of colour combinations we plan to use for the spring summer collection:
Firstly we thought - a little bit of a soft cool muted vintage pink - a bit like on this saucer from Lisa Angel...

Then, a pale primrose yellow to go with that - a bit like this sweet day lily:

And both of those shades will compliment the ever delightful - blue. Blue in various forms - from a lilac to an indigo will be the focus for our theme:

Pantone chose this array of colours for spring/summer 2013.
At East Place we'll be occupying the middle section of this medley for the most part... There's a video from the Pantone site that's worth a watch:

blue heaven!

Went for a short walk today under a piercingly blue sky and surrounded by the sound of birdsong; a reminder that the birds feel like Spring is on the way even if we don't!  Quite an optimistic time too as Annie and I are working out the schedule for the craft fairs we hope to have a presence at during 2013 - starting in Spring.  Keep visiting East Place for info on where and when you can catch up with us over the year.

There are two of us here - sometimes you'll hear Helen's voice in a blog post and sometimes it'll be Annie's.
Pretty soon we'll have some lovely images of our gorgeous paper and textile products - all of which are designed and made by us.
